Recruitment

Do you care about improving access to the New Forest?

We are currently recruiting for new members for the New Forest Access Forum. We would like to welcome applications from under-represented groups and non-traditional audiences.

Our members serve a three-year term, representing a particular interest and bringing their personal experience to advise New Forest organisations how best to improve public access within the National Park and the wider New Forest District Council area. This is a voluntary role.

We meet four times a year, twice on-site visits out in the New Forest and twice at Lymington Town Hall. All travel expenses are covered as are the expenses of arranging for the care of children or dependents. If you have additional needs, then we will be please to accommodate them during our two office meetings and our two external meetings.

If you are interested, then please download our application form and email it to access.forum@newforestnpa.gov.uk by 5pm Friday 3 May 2024. Successful applications will be invited for an informal interview at our offices in Lymington or online via Microsoft Teams the week following.

If you have any questions about membership of the forum and its role then please contact Adam Vasey, Access & Volunteering Officer at adam.vasey@newforestnpa.gov.uk or call 07384 517633 for an informal chat.
