Richard moved to the New Forest in 1993 after a career in the oil industry. He and his wife run a small holding in Minstead raising cattle and sheep, with a strong emphasis on farming for nature. He is a keen cyclist and walker with a particular passion to promote all forms of active and sustainable transport as an alternative to the car.
